The faculty conference (video conference) in our college was convened on the afternoon of April 1.Chaired by Cai Huimin, the secretary of the Party Committee, this conference served arrangements for this new semester.
At the meeting, Secretary Cai Huimin reported the work of Party building and conveyed the spirit of the National Party Congress.Meanwhile, arrangment was made for the work of Party Committee of our college, especially the Party building in grass-roots organizationsand party branches, etc.
Dean Jiang Qingyan first conveyed the spirit of Party Committee's (expanded) Meeting of SCAU, especially the main tasks of our university in 2020. At the same time, the key tasks of our college for the new semester were deployed, including the Fifth Teaching Evaluation, the construction of the new experimental building, etc.
These work were deployed and notifiedrespectively by Deputy Secretary He Dongmei, Vice Dean Wu Yinbao, Dean President Nie Qinghua, and Vice Dean Sun Jingchen.
The Bi-weekly Study Conference of our college was conducted next. Professor Zhao Jingbo of Southern Medical University was invited to give a mental health counseling report entitled "Practical Methods and Techniques for Physical and Mental Health during the Period of Epidemic Prevention and Control". With an introduction to Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19), Zhao Jingbo interpreted its impact on people’s mentality and the public characters of mental stress response during this period from a psychological perspective. He also imparted to the faculty some practical skills of physical and mental adjustment, including environmental experience, body’s relaxation and emotional stability.
