On the morning of January 7th, the tea partyof welcoming the Spring Festival of Year 2020was held for retired staff in the conference room on the third floor of Wens building of College of Animal Science. Representatives of College of Animal Science attended the tea party, which was chaired by Cai Huimin. Among the representatives figured Cai Huimin, secretary of the Party committee of College of Aninal Science, Jiang Qingyan, Dean of College of Animal Science, He Dongmei, Deputy Secretary of Party committee of College of Aninal Science, Sun Jingchen, Deputy Dean of College of Animal Science.

At the tea party, Jiang Qingyan expressed his warm welcome and greeting to the retirees present, and reported on the key tasks of our university and College of Animal Science in 2019, especially the new breakthroughs made by our college in teaching, scientific research, discipline construction and talent training.
Secretary Cai Huimin summed up the honors that retirees had obtained in the past year. In particular, he mentioned that retirement group of our college was awarded as the "Advanced Retirement Group" of South China Agricultural University, and Chen Wenguang, Zheng Cheng, Liang Xiuqing, Yu Qingwei and Luo Xiaowei as "Advanced Elder Individuals with Achievement" .
Retirees expressed their own opinion in the tea party. Among them, Bi Yingzuo and other retirees extended their congratulations and gratitude to leaders. They also provided valuable suggestions and hoped the College would make a great success.
