Cai Huimin, Secretary of the Party committee of the Academy of Animal Sciences, gave a special party lecture for doctoral party members on the evening of November 20.He led all the doctoral party members to learn the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19thCPC Central Committee, and called on them to conscientiously learn from the advanced deeds of Academician Lu Yonggen to becomeone of the most beautiful fighters.
At the lecture, Secretary Cai affirmed the achievements of the Doctoral Party Branch in scientific and technological innovation, voluntary service, rural revitalization and other aspects. He pointed out that doctoral candidates serve as an important force to carry out scientific and technological research. Doctoral party members should give full play to their role as model leaders to form a youth storm of patriotism, struggle and dedication in the college.
Secretary Cai led the doctoral party members to further study our party's system advantages of advancing law-based governance, and strengthen the confidence in Socialism System with Chinese Characteristics. He pointed out that all party members should adhere to the guidance of Xi Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era, conscientiously study and implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 19th Central Committee of the Party; strengthen our consciousness of the need to maintain political integrity,think in big-picture terms, follow the leadership core, and keep in alignmentwith the central Party leadership; stay confident in the path, theory, system,and culture of socialism with Chinese characteristics; and uphold GeneralSecretary Xi Jinping’s core position on the Party Central Committee and in theParty as a whole, and uphold the Party Central Committee's authority and itscentralized, unified leadership.
Secretary Cai conveyed the Decision of Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China on Calling for Learning from Comrade Lu Yonggen. He called on all doctoral party members to learn from the original and loyal political character of Academician Lu and his commitment to scientific research and the spirit of bearing the responsibility bravely. Also we should learn from Academician Lu’s noble sentiments of hard work, simplicity and selfless dedication and his lofty realm of moral cultivation and dedication.
As the end of the lecture, Secretary Cai put forwardhis great expectation for doctoral party members from the “Four Points” life creedof Academician Lu, hoping everyone can be a large-minded doctor with profound love.
