Dr. Zhu Canjun's report on his visit in the United State

At 9:00 am on September 30, 2018, Dr. Zhu Canjun, who was co-trained at the University of Texas Health Science Center in the United State in 2017-2018, delivered a report in Animal Science Lecture of College of Animal Science and shared his visit with the teachers and students of our college. Professor Shu Gang from the College of Animal Science attended and hosted the lecture.  
 
First of all, Professor Shu Gang gave a brief introduction to Dr. Zhu Canjun. Subsequently, Dr. Zhu Canjun gave an academic report entitled "The Brain Mechanism of Stress-induced Obesity", which mainly focused on the effects of environmental changes on obesity, the effects of PVH CRH activation or inhibition on obesity, and the activation of CRH neurons by NachBac, the effects of PVH CRH neurons activation on induced stress and the inhibition of CRH neuron activity. He also briefly introduced the important role of PVH CRH neurons in stress-regulated obesity.
This academic exchange activity enabled us to understand more advanced methods and ideas, which helped to improve the quality of the discipline and personnel training. After the report, the exchange was lively and the teachers and students were greatly benefited.
