On September 6th, on the occasion of the 34th Teacher's Day, Xie Yanmei, Chairman of the Guangdong Education, Culture and Health Union, and her delegation visited the outstanding teacher representative of our college Professor Xie Qingmei. Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of South China Agricultural University Zhong Yangjin, Secretary of the Party Committee Wu Yatai, Dean Jiang Qingyan, and Deputy Secretary Zhang Haiping received the guests and thanked the Guangdong Education, Culture, And Health Union for their support and help to our work.
At the meeting, Secretary of the Party Committee Wu Yatai, on behalf of College of Animal Science, welcomed the visiting guests and introduced the situation of the faculty and staff of the college. Zhong Yangjin, Vice Secretary of the Party Committee of South China Agricultural University had an in-depth exchange with Chairman Xie on the discipline construction of our college. Chairman Xie visited and thanked Professor Xie Qingmei, the "National Outstanding Women Leader", and gave a greeting to the teachers and educators. Xie Yanmei highly affirmed Professor Xie Qingmei's outstanding achievements in the field of teaching and research. She hoped that in the future work, she will play a leading role in demonstration and create new achievements, making new contributions to the education of our province.
