On the morning of August 30,2018, a faculty meeting was held by College of Animal Science in the lecture hall on the third floor of Wen's Building to deploy a new semester. Secretary of the Party Committee of College of Animal Science Wu Yatai, Dean Jiang Qingyan, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee Zhang Haiping, Associate Dean Xie Qingmei, Associate Dean Nie Qinghua, Associate Dean Huang Qingsheng and all faculty and staff attended the meeting. The meeting was chaired by Secretary of the Party Committee Wu Yatai.
At the meeting, Deputy Secretary Zhang Haiping, Associate Dean Xie Qingmei, Associate Dean Nie Qinghua, and Associate Dean Huang Qingsheng respectively summarized and deployed the work in charge. Secretary Wu Yatai summarized the work about party's building, poverty alleviation, retirement, and alumni,etc.in the last semester, and said that in the next semester, he would continue to implement General Secretary Xi Jinping's thought about socialism with Chinese characteristics of new era, focusing on the cultivation of teachers' ethics and morality as well as the building of the party branch.
Dean Jiang Qingyan first conveyed the spirit of the enlarged meeting of party committee of South China Agricultural University, briefed the faculty and staff on the achievements of our university in the first half of 2018 and the key work plans in the second half of 2018, and supplemented the focus of College of Animal Science in the second half of the year. President Jiang finally summed up this meeting and hoped that all teachers would promote the work of the college with a high degree of responsibility, and meet new challenges and create new glories.
